bramble lee pryde

An evolving universe of art, objects, adornment, sound, observation, and cultural critique.

Bramble Lee Pryde is an interdisciplinary artist and jeweller working across sculpture, painting, adornment, sound, writing, objects, and participatory projects.

The practice examines how humans use objects, rituals, systems, and stories to construct meaning while living with uncertainty.

Objects carry more than they were built to hold.

Adornment is never only decoration.

Rituals emerge when explanation is no longer enough.

THE WORK

CHANGES FORMs

Across sculpture, jewellery, sound, writing, objects, and participatory work, my practice returns to how we assign meaning, construct value, and create rituals around what we cannot fully resolve.

current project:
Strange companions

An evolution of The Existential Dreadlings, this is a growing system of sculptures, sound, cards, objects, and participatory encounters built around what remains when certainty fails.

The work does not offer solutions. It asks what can accompany us instead.

Residency and exhibition at Sparrow Artspace, October 2026.

This project was made possible with funding from Calgary Arts Development.

Subject Object is Bramble Lee Pryde’s fine jewellery and conceptual object studio, spanning one-of-a-kind adornment, collections, bespoke work, and material experiments.

Through high craft and cultural critique, Subject Object considers how objects become meaningful and precious, through wear, memory and ritual.
